InSports x Concordia College

The Golden Cobbs Awards and Spring Cobber InSports Day brought together celebration and community at Concordia College Moorhead. From honoring standout student-athletes like our InSports Super Cobb Award Winner, Colin Thompson, to hosting 140 local 4th graders for a day of sports and connection—these events highlighted the power of leadership both on and off the field.

The Golden Cobb Awards

Concordia College Moorhead held the 2025 Golden Cobbs award ceremony this April, celebrating outstanding student-athletes who excel both in academics and in their sports. We were proud to collaborate with Concordia for the second year to give out the InSports Super Cobb Award to student athlete, Colin Thompson. This award recognizes a student-athlete who not only maintains a high GPA but also excels in their athletic pursuits and contributes significantly to the community.

“Thanks to all of my friends, teammates, coaches, and teachers! Thanks to my family and all they’ve done for me, my sister Ashlyn whose support I could not have done this without, and Callum who always inspires me to become the best dad I can be.”

By celebrating the achievements of student-athletes and creating meaningful opportunities to give back, Concordia and the InSports Foundation are helping build a generation ready to lead IN sports, IN school, and IN their communities.
