InSports x Pemberton Homes
On Sunday, June 1, the starting line wasn’t just the beginning of a race. It marked the beginning of something meaningful. The first-ever Pemberton Home Stretch 5K brought together runners, walkers, and families in support of a shared mission: getting more kids IN the game.
Funds That Go Further
All proceeds from the event directly supported the InSports Foundation. A total of $3,180.98 was raised through registrations and donations, with a generous $3,000 match by Pemberton Homes bringing the final total to $6,180.98. That’s enough to fully fund two InSports Days, our before and after school programming that provides structured physical activity and access to sports for kids across the metro.
Each InSports Day costs around $3,000 to run per school, making this event a true game-changer for two communities.

Bringing the Fun
At the event, our team hosted a booth filled with activities and giveaways. Kids picked up InSports bracelets and suckers, and our inflatable sports game gave them a chance to shoot, kick, and score while others were out on the course. We were also joined by a group from Innovative, who came out to run, cheer, and show their support.

Thank You, Pemberton Homes
We are incredibly grateful to the Pemberton Homes team for choosing InSports as the beneficiary of their inaugural 5K. Their support helps us continue breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for kids to move, play, and grow—one school and one student at a time.
