First Tee Minnesota, MGA Youth on Course & The Broken Club
At the InSports Foundation, we believe that everyone deserves the chance to experience the life-changing opportunities that sports provide, and our Broken Club program is a key initiative to help more kids get into the game of golf. Through our ongoing partnership with First Tee – Minnesota and MGA Youth on Course, we’re working together to ensure that golf, a sport rich with tradition and life lessons, becomes accessible to children from all walks of life.

Our continued support of First Tee – Minnesota is helping expand both green grass and school-based golf programming statewide:
- 4,000+ youth participated in programs at 27 locations across Minnesota
- Coaches delivered over 38,000 hours of instruction
- Another 1,600 kids received free summer lessons
- 60+ schools now offer First Tee programming—one-third of them Title I
- More than 24,000 students learned golf in PE class this year
- 10 schools on the waitlist are now fully funded—reaching an additional 4,000 kids
From recreation centers to school gymnasiums, First Tee is turning new spaces into fairways for the next generation.

This season also marked our first partnership with the Minnesota Golf Association’s Youth on Course program—and the impact is already clear:
- 25,000 youth members now have access to golf across Minnesota
- 131 participating courses allow kids to play for $5 or less
- Scholarships ensure no child is turned away due to cost
- Our donation directly helps 4,000 kids continue playing at reduced rates
By making golf more affordable, Youth on Course is opening doors for kids to build confidence, develop skills, and enjoy the game long-term.
