Meet Aneciya Holt, a remarkable 15-year-old athlete from Minnesota. Aneciya is a sophomore at Park High School, where she excels in both academics and athletics. On the court, Aneciya plays JV and Varsity basketball, and she is also involved in track and field. Known for her leadership, dedication, and positive attitude, Aneciya is a role model to her peers. Additionally, she is actively involved in her community, volunteering with the VFW on Veterans Day. The scholarship funds will be used to support Aneciya’s attendance at a specialized basketball camp. This camp will provide her with training and development opportunities, helping her to improve her skills, to achieve her athletic goal of gaining more playing time on the Varsity team. We are proud to support Aneciya’s journey and look forward to witnessing her continued success both academically and athletically.
“I particularly love playing basketball for many reasons such as: staying healthy, competing against other players, and I am really good at it, which makes me passionate about the game of basketball. Since I can remember, I picked up a basketball at the age of four and haven’t put it down yet. Basketball does not define me as a person, it is just something I really enjoy doing. Sports make you become a better person in life. It helps you get along on a team and work together. You learn a lot about life and human skills, and how to get involved in your community.”
