Ahmed is a 16 year old basketball player from Minnesota. He is currently on the varsity team and plays AAU in the off-season. He is a hard working student athlete who hopes to continue playing basketball in the future. Ahmed applied for an InSports Scholarship to help pay for his AAU registration and to help gain funds for his team, the MN Southeast Stars.
“Sports mean a lot to me because it has helped me learn life lessons and I’ve been fortunate to have great coaches that have been there for me for years and have been great role models to me and my teammates. Growing up without a father, playing sports taught me the things a father is supposed to teach their sons.”
