ABOUT THE ATHLETE

Name: Kiyara McWright

Age: 13

Sports Played: Track, Volleyball & Hockey

Home State: Minnesota

Kiyara McWright is a 13 year old multi sport athlete from Minnesota who leads with heart and resilience. A captain on her hockey team, she missed six weeks with a broken hand and still showed up every day to support her teammates before returning ready to compete. Whether it’s hockey, volleyball, or track, Kiyara brings grit, leadership, and a love for the game. We’re proud to support her as she continues to grow and get IN the game.

“I love hockey. I love to be on the ice. I love being part of a team. This year I was chosen as team captain. I play an important role in communicating player concerns to the coaching staff. I am happy to be that person because I think I am good at communication. I play other sports – like track and volleyball. I have fun in all sport – especially team sports – but HOCKEY IS FOR ME.”
