Aaliyah Hurd is a dedicated 13-year-old student-athlete with a strong passion for volleyball and academics. She has been playing for two years in YMCA and CDAA leagues and is eager to take her skills to the next level. Aaliyah is committed to her education, maintaining a 3.58 GPA, earning Honor Roll recognition, and being named December Student of the Month. She dreams of playing volleyball at the collegiate level while earning academic and athletic scholarships. This scholarship will help her participate in the Crossfire Volleyball Spring Skills training, giving her the opportunity to grow, improve, and continue working toward her goals.
“This year I moved to Minnesota to live with my dad and stepmom and volleyball has been an important part of me meeting new friends and feeling comfortable in my new school. This year I played volleyball on two teams, where I was able to learn and grow in my skills, while connecting with new friends in a new state. Volleyball helps me to build confidence on and off the court ”
