The week began with an unforgettable experience at the Sanford International presented by First PREMIER Bank, PREMIER Bankcard, and Mastercard at Minnehaha Country Club in Sioux Falls. The Sanford International has become a premier stop on the PGA TOUR Champions calendar, and this year’s event gave us the opportunity to celebrate the game of golf while creating meaningful moments for kids in the community.
Inspiring the Next Generation
Thanks to our partnership with First Tee – South Dakota, 50 kids from the local community participated in an InSports junior golf clinic during the week of the tournament. These young athletes had the chance to take the course, learn new skills, and hear directly from role models who understand the importance of staying active and committed. The smiles, energy, and excitement on the course were a reminder of how powerful sports can be in shaping confidence and character.
Conversations on the Game
We had the privilege of recording an Athletes IN Sports Podcast episode with two-time U.S. Open Champion and ESPN analyst Andy North. From reflecting on his championship career to sharing his thoughts on leadership and the state of the game today, Andy’s perspective was both thoughtful and inspiring. His conversation will be a must-listen for athletes and fans who want to learn what it takes to succeed not only in golf but also in life.

Innovative IN the KidZone
Beyond the clinic and podcast, Innovative team members stepped in as volunteers at the Sanford International KidZone. From helping kids with games and activities to welcoming families throughout the week, our volunteers brought extra energy and fun to the tournament experience. This hands-on involvement reflects Innovative’s commitment to giving back and supporting events that create meaningful opportunities for kids and families.
A Week to Remember
Moments like these reflect the heart of the InSports mission — giving kids the opportunity to get IN the game. By being part of the Sanford International, we were able to connect with PGA TOUR Champions, highlight the importance of youth access to sports, and create experiences that extend well beyond the tournament. The impact of this week will last long after the final putt drops, both for the kids who participated and for our team at InSports.
We look forward to an exciting tournament weekend ahead and to continuing to grow opportunities for kids through the game of golf and beyond.
