2024 TRY HOCKEY FOR FREE | SARTELL MN

On February 16th, the InSports Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Minnesota hosted a “Try Hockey for Free” event at the Scheels Athletic Complex in Sartell, MN. We introduced 25 kids to hockey, with nearly all stepping onto the ice for the first time. Using Gillyboo red push skating trainers, they quickly picked up the basics. The day didn’t end with learning to skate; after their ice time, the Big Brothers Big Sisters matches, their littles & families enjoyed pizza and watched a local high school hockey game, making their introduction to hockey both fun and memorable.
